Hi everyone!
I thought I would give this a try again. Since I'm home for probably two more months, I think I can manage some kind of art! I got to paint last night (really late! Around 11p) . I wasn't trying to do anything fancy, just playing with the paint and brushes. I did this ambidextrously. Almost all of it was left handed, except the petals of the large flower. BTW, I'm right hand dominant. I know you guys know! lol...

Have a great day!

Thank you Dan!
For now, I'm just giving them away. I have no space for them at home. I used to have an Etsy shop, but I put it on hiatus until I'm feeling better.

Also, for me, the pleasure is in the making, so when I'm finished with something, I lose interest in it. Better to give it to someone that can appreciate it, then for it to be packed away. That's what will happen to this witch after Halloween. I do keep a few in the hopes that my family will like them when I'm gone. ; )

I'm sure there's money to be made though Lotus, your dolls are wonderful and better made than ones you buy on the high street! Even if it just pays for more materials. I hope you can get your Etsy shop up and running again soon...

hi lotus - this witch has gotta be one of the most glamourous witches in all the covens.... she is lovely. I love the touches of colour (of course the ruby boots are my favourite lol) but i too love her face - her big lips and that rather saucy expression.

She is lovely - enjoy her - and take care x

Oh my, I love this black and white witchy with her brilliant red boots =) And the hula page in your journal is gorgeous. Funny synchronicity again, I was just at FaceBook today and Jules had said something funny about spinach and I got a craving for spinach and someone else posted "I Yam What I Yam" ... ha ha! Please do take it easy til your surgery, Lotus. My lower back problems are improving with physical therapy, but I know how discouraging it feels when the pain attacks again after it has been gone for a bit. If there is any way of getting out of it, don't go back to work yet, okay? Hugs and keeping you in healing light always!

LOL! The "I Yam what I Yam" came from a collage in my journal too!
I'm glad your back is improving Barbara Ann. Hubby and I talked long and hard about the surgery and we both agreed that it would be better for me to do the surgery now while I'm still "young" enough to heal quickly. My other option is to become permanently disabled, live cautiously- as in, no falling, very little twisting, don't turn my head side to side or up and down (no joke, it's what two doctors have told me)- and give up making art with my right hand. I'm dropping things now. I don't know if I can bear giving up my art...
I have an 80% chance of success with the ability to go back to work. I will also be able to do my art completely, including carving my stamps! ; )

then there is no choice is there... you have to do it and it will be great... have faith. I know its a big thing you are facing... but the options for you, as an artist, if you dont proceed are just grim... you have such a lot to create yet - and all those witches waiting to join the coven!!!! lol

go for it lotus!!! x

A.m.a.z.i.n.g. The details in the outfit (black/white witch) are to die for! And, the twinkle in her eye. Hmmm....can you make those boots in real-size so I can wear them, lol!

These witches are very, very special! I've really seen nothing just like them. Just...beautiful and magical, to say the least.

HAving one of them displayed in a room must fill it with sparkling energy!!
