Here's where I'll post my creativity for October. I'd like to do something themed for the whole thirty days, maybe some photos, or poems or both, rather than just update my general creating each day. I'll be back soon with some ideas...

I've chosen a theme for my October thirty: Curve.

Dan,
DIdn't get to support you through your September 30 days as decided to support some newer members. Now its time to support a goldie oldie!!! I'm not doing the challenge but am committed to encouraging others who are. That's my commitment!!! Looking forward to your photos and poems. It is my birthday on the 5th October so I expect an especially nice photo and poem!!!!

Day one, October 1st.

I decided on a theme for much of my creativity for October, and of course there will be other stuff too that's outside of this. The theme is "curve". I took a few photos, trying to get a kind of ghostly white curve. Plus I wrote some six worders and two haiku:

every curve, a journey, a promise...

her smouldering curves, her chilling smile...

I found your letters
half buried in the fresh snow
outside my window.

so very close, but
the soft curve of your shoulder
disappears again...

What a cool theme! What made you choose it? I like the way you are taking it and expressing the word in different ways. You are so good at creating visions through your words :)

Thanks Wendy! Don't know where the theme came from. Guess I like curves! Does give a lot of scope too. Took some more photos today, will post a little later...

Here's a curve image for you:

the day after the life class
I walked down the lane to work,
and curves on the fallen tree
reminded me of hers....

Oh I like that, and cool that it's art about art, ie a poem about painting.

(If I wrote this I would be very careful how I offered it to the muse of the poem though!)

Also today I wrote a curve themed haiku:

the curve of her cheek
is where my happiness rests
and my sadness rests

and two other haiku:

still your tender touch
is like sunlight in my heart,
and stars on my tongue...

the waves of the sea
come and go and come and go.
the sea is perfect.
