First Manga Adventures...

I've been a fan of Manga and Anime for a long time, since I saw Akira something like fifteen+ years ago, and learning to draw and create characters has been one of my backburner creative goals for as long.

Yesterday I decided to begin so bought a new sketchbook and some pencils, checked out a couple of websites, and tried my first character.

Here she is:

I wrote a short story recently about a boy and a girl and a red balloon - Elli and James and The Red Balloon - and when I was writing I had manga characters in my head. So that's what I'm working towards, making them come alive on the page somehow...
