Hello Everyone. This is a companion piece to Monthly Abandon. And I have to thank Frank for giving me the idea to use the weekday names.




HOW MANY DAYS IN A MONTH?

Tuesday felt like crying.
Friday felt like dying when
She found June dead.
Saturday told her it was August,
But deep down she knew it wasn't.
Wednesday just got out of jail
And told February of March's escape.
Tuesday got a tattoo.
Thursday went down to the bay
And wore a suit of bricks as he
Slowly walked into the cold water
And out of everyone's memories.
Sunday held a picture of Thursday
As she ran after Tuesday and
Smashed her head into the ground
Out the front of Target.
Tuesday got a free ticket to hell.
Monday wished she could go back
Back to before May killed himself
And never break up with him.
Sunday looked at the moon
As she hung a rope over the branch
Of a huge pine tree in her backyard
And said, "I'm coming now Thursday...... and October".
Just before she took her last step she said,
"How many days in a month?"
