Today I'm whiny and a bit miserable.. I have a cold, sore throat.. wishing that I had Mommy here to tuck me in and rub my tummy... but in reality I cannot bother her with this.. or she might worry too much.. I need to be strong and remember that this wont last forever.. this is just a footnote.. soon I'll forget how bad I feel today and be humming with the butterflies again.

I happened upon it today and thought
why not post it here - very appropriate for the inner child.

I go to a retreat every year- there is a family- four sisters, Mom and Aunt who sing this at some point during the retreat. How could this song be anything less than beautiful?

My inner child loves to play ;) When it seems I'm forgetting to take a break, she gets in my head and we go off
to play on the swings or run around the park dancing and singing. She also makes me laugh when I start
taking life to seriously. She is totally responsible for keeping my vision fresh, and showing me how awesome
life is... Love her deeply.
Today we both had a great day finishing my carving projects and taking some beautiful pictures of
feathered clouds.

So glad you made this post - it's been so long since I've been in here.
You've inspired me by how deeply you love your inner child. You go off to play on the swings, or sing and dance in the park. I'll have to remember these words, in the days and weeks to come.

Christmas is coming, and I want to feel like that child again inside of me - in awe of the lights and the music and the spirit. It's not about getting everything done, or anything for that matter. It's about feeling the beauty of it all, the magic...

Alexandra and Carol, I'm the same it has been awhile since I tapped into my inner child. Just realised I need to. She wants to watch a movie about finding butterflies so I am going to settle in with my inner child and watch a childrens movie.
