Chihuahuas can fly??!! What a trip! I'm not much of a fan of tiny dogs, but I always said, if a person wants to breed the ultimate guard dog, they should figure out how to make a hundred pound Chihuahua. Pitbulls and Rotties would have nothing on that!!

(OK - now I'm thinking, those are more probably Minpins -- but my opinion still stands.)

Yeah, I think you're right, Christie ... Minpins ... I like your theory for the 100 lb. Chihuahua :) But ya know, if they wasn't so small, they prolly wouldn't feel the need to be so feisty!

I think my inner child was overtaken by the joy of finding a bargain when it came to buying the run-around-ball for my hamster, Paddy. It's the small size ... and Paddy has become quite a formidable hamster since we got her on St. Paddy's day. I'm not even going to attempt squeezin' her into this ... she needs the next size up!

hee hee ... yeah ...

I almost bought a pair of pants I found in with the medical scrubs or whatever you call those shirts and pants that nurses and people in hospitals wear. These were blue and purple with black outlined snake skin design, on loose fitting pants with a drawstring tie at the waist. I don't think they belonged there ... LOL ... but they would be cool and kewl to wear to the Blues Fest in Chicago next month. I may go back tomorrow and get them. Sadly, I outgrew the black wrap around pants with the orange and blue flames on the hems. Well, I could wear them ... but not gracefully ... LOL ... so I gave them to the thrift store so someone else could enjoy them. Those were fun :)

Barb, How exciting! You found some great stuff. One of my all-time favorite books is "Writing Down the Bones." I think you'll love it! I'd like to go through it again someday. I've heard great things about eat, pray, love.

And perhaps best of all -- the hamster ball!! They are so much fun! When we had hamsters (God rest their souls :-( ), we had balls for them, and it was hilarious watching them truck all around the house, turning corners, etc. The cats didn't know quite what to do. If you can, show us some pictures!
