This is a discussion group for all things involving the inner child. We all know that the inner child is the creative genius of our inner personalities.
How is your child feeling today ?
What do you do that your inner child loves ?
How does your inner child express itself ?

I talked with my inner child over the weekend
and he taught me a prayer/song:

God loves me
I love God
Thank you, God
Thank you, me

To the tune of La La La

For some reason, it makes my heart smile when I say it.

The children all did cry,

And so does Little Bo Peep. Lambies are so fluffy and cuddly,
my inner child wants to go to the farm right now and hug a few close.

Funny you should be talking about lambs today, as I just found a picture of my inner child and wanted to post it post haste, before it got lost again, as things do on my harddrive.

Aww...that is a sweet picture. Is that you feeding the lamb?

Thank you - yes, it is. An ancient photo I've cropped severely and have been trying to turn into a painting for some time now. Turning black and white into color has been a challenge!

I can't figure out why it showed up as an attachment instead of showing up in the post? Was the file too big, or ??? (I feel so dumb!)

Did you use the camera icon in the reply box? You should be able to just grab it from your computer- clicking on the blue 'options' will give you a pop up window where you can change the size- I always choose create a thumbnail...maybe that is why?
Please don't feel dumb- it took me a long time to get the hang of all this -Just ask Lin because she is who I pestered with all my questions :-)

My inner child felt like skipping.
With your inner child's permission, I would like say that prayer with
my own inner child.

I think inner children speak much the same language, don't you? That zest for joy
I so want to bottle up!

To help my inner child express herself, my outer adult has been paying attention to real children she comes in contact with. My little niece began to giggle- then laugh loudly the last time I saw her- for no outwardly apparent reason.

When I aske her what was so funny she said "Nothing. I just got that laughy feeling"

Today I want to help my inner child respond to "That laughy feeling" rather than hushing it up, as my outer adult tends to do.
