CoachCreativeSpace

Too often in my life, I have trivialized my gratitude.
Too often, I have put off stating my gratitude.
Time waits for no one, so I think it is high time I expressed my thankfulness
in a place where it can inspire someone else.
This is the place.
Feel free to express your gratitude in any form you want here.
I only ask that you be positive in nature, that is do not express your in-gratitude here.
I am grateful that CoachCreativeSpace allows me a place to do this.

Hi Angie,
I am grateful that you have shared so much of yourself here. It made me wonder if I too could list 100 things to be grateful for. Also, it seems like it was a deep transformational process for you to write these gratitudes, well emotional for sure! Wow, makes me realize just how powerful the gratitude process is! I almost went into a hypnotic trance as I kept reading them....
That allspirit website and "The Prayer Tree" that you mentioned sound intriguing. I'd like to check them out.
I wonder what would happen if we just kept writing gratitudes down with no limit in mind as to how many we could write.
P.S. Did it get easier or harder to write the gratitude list as you continued on?
I also find it interesting how you broke the gratitudes down into several little comment blocks here. Any reasonings for each switch?
Sorry, just my analytical curious mind taking over. My heart says to you "I am so grateful for Angie W." !!!!!!!
Oh WOW, Angie ... what a feat ... I'd probably be tearing up too, upon realizing 100 things I'm grateful for.

Today I'm grateful for this Grateful Place :)

hi Bev, I'm sure you could!! After I got to 28 it seemed hard, that's why I saved it there, and also so I didn't lose it, and I decided I'd just keep finishing on an 8 as it made it seem easier. Now and again I'd think crikey what next but something would just pop up. It kind of got easier and harder in "waves" - but I think like with all writing once you've cranked the engine the old car goes in the end. I think a realisation has just dawned on me recently about how ungrateful I've been about a lot of things and I wanted to nail it...I wouldn't have finished it if I'd done it on my own. As Rinpoche says in his book once a person begins to work with meditation they will see their own face and their own ugliness...he says that's when we rebel and smash the mirror, but we'll see loads of our face then in all the pieces. Made me think of Snow White and the Cruel Queen. I've been really ungrateful about a lot of things on my list...but I hope to grow and move on and maybe my reflection will start to look a bit prettier. That's a great combination y'know analytical & imaginative....

I feel a compulsion to write down my gratitudes for my recent camping holiday in Wales:
I'm grateful that the weather, so wet before we went, turned fine & sunny. The bit of rain we had at the beginning of the holiday was overnight & one evening and caused us no inconvenience.
I'm grateful for all the pleasant, warm people that we met on our travels.
I'm grateful for safe journeys there & back and in the middle.
I'm grateful for all the all the nice food & drink.
I'm grateful for all the beautiful landscapes we passed through.
I'm grateful for the our one night's stay in BB in Aberaeron & the stay at my in-laws for the last five nights.
Living under canvas certainly makes you appreciate the luxury of living in a house.
I'm grateful for sharing such an experience with my husband & children.
I'm grateful that we managed to finance our trip, our first trip away for a fortnight for some time.
I'm grateful that I found the Rinpoche book "The Tibetan Book of Living & Dying" before I went away as working on the meditation and awareness is helping me in many ways.
I hope to show my gratitude in the creative work I do in response to this trip.

Well, I have been going from group to group today just sharing tidbits of myself, checking in. It feels good to do this, seeing all my friends and their writings and sharings and what they're up to.

I"m grateful for the Autumn slowly making its way into my life. The colorful palette of nature and the smells of bonfires makes me feel alive elevates all my senses.
I'm grateful for who I am. I am a gift that needs to be shared. I am enough as I am.
I'm grateful for loving friends and comrades who get me as I am and accept me. This sure helps to keep me going on my path.
I am grateful for lemon egg rice soup which I had at a restaurant last night. Trying new things is so freeing and experimental.
I am grateful for writing class. I can express myself in words beyond what my visual painting self reveals. I am always surprised at how words can tap into deeper recesses of myself. Wow!
I am grateful for digital art and computers. I sense so much more freedom in my creativity when I can take an "older image" and breathe fresh life into it via technology. It is not a trite form of creating, but rather an evolution. I embrace it totally. Whatever helps me jumpstart myself, I am grateful.
I am grateful for cooler days and nights, which sends me into hibernation where I can spend time accessing my inner creative self and processing it in words and images.
And finally, I am just grateful. To feel that sense of gratitude makes it all worthwhile, doesn't it?
And now a cup of hot chocolate is in order. Who needs coffee, anyway?

Every morning when I rise I say thanks for a new day and a new beginning and I'm grateful for all that I have
accomplished, will accomplish no matter how small and hope my gratitude is felt throughout the Universe.
I'm grateful for the moments, minutes, hours of every day for the chance to make someone smile, feel good,
give hope. I try to live with gratitude every day and always with hope.
