WELCOME TO FLORABELLE'S :-)

Florabelle’s

Take a deep breath and picture, if you will, a place, a sweet spot, your ideal retreat…That's the beauty of Florabelle's! A place so grande, you may find or create your own little niche, and you may remodel or relocate any time you like.

Florabelle encourages everyone to share their place, in fact, even invite friends over and have virtual parties and rendezvous, or if peace and quiet is what you need, then just slip in for a little rejuvenescence.

Florabelle has created this rejuvenescent retreat as an escape from the everyday mundane, drudgery, or woes, (and these words should never again be used at Florabelle's unless in celebrating their defeat) as she would very much like for this to be a place where everyone has a lightened load and a cheerful heart!

So, as you enter, please leave all heavy packages behind. Shoes off, and anything else you’d like to leave, at the door. Yes, we’ve heard about some of you running around in your back yards naked …hmmm… :-}

You've been invited here to be rejuvenated! So let out your inner child and feel free to be silly, to laugh and giggle and have too much fun!

Malinda, puff weeds are one of my favorite things!

A puff weed story:

Being originally a city girlie, I had no idea what puff weeds were. When we moved to the suburbs, there were many of those puff weeds blowing around the house from outside.
They mystified me, but I was afraid of them because I thought they were floating bugs, so I would run away from them...when I got older, it finally dawned on me that they were the dandelion seeds, and I fell in love with their fluffy
mysteries, as I blew on them and watched them magically float around and scatter through my little girl universe...

Are those monkeys a DJ tribute?

Mary, that is a great idea! I will make a colorful collage commemorating my 56th BD party bash and keep it with all my other new and fabulous memorabilia!!!

Barb, maybe DJ can translate BRAVO into monkey for us! This is important, because if I should meet a monkey and it says BRAVO and I misunderstand to me BANANA, the monkey will think I am a pervoid and spit peanut shells at me! Boo hoo!

How To Write When You Think You’ve Forgotten How

Beneath all your fears and concerns about writing, you have the same abilities that you've always had. In fact, because now you're more experienced than you've ever been before and you've more material in your own life to draw upon, you're actual in the best position you've ever been to rediscover your creative writing abilities.

How To Find Your Natural Writing Style

Finding your own unique voice in writing is not something that can simply happen overnight.

When we’re born, we don’t pop out of our mother’s womb conversing fluently in 3 different languages. It takes time to discover how to communicate, and even when we’ve achieved a competent grasp our native language, it’s still a lifelong journey of finding new nuances, learning new words and honing the way we communicate so we can understand – and are understood – more clearly.

So your writing is a natural extension of this. Even when you have that competency in your mother tongue, as a writer you can then go on to develop an original and distinctive writing style. Here are 5 tips to make this a rewarding journey:
