According to jungian psychology every person and object in our dreams represents an aspect of ourselves. In other words, we don't dream about others, only ourselves.

(I have found this to be true - except in the case of prophetic dreams when I have dreamt about what is going to happen to other people and it has.)

Taking this idea as a starting point, I have developed the following way to interpret my dreams: First I write the dream down and then I write it out again putting the whole thing into the first person and inserting descriptions of what comes to mind.

e.g.

I dreamt of a table and chairs
I am a table, I feel flat. I am a chair. I feel sat upon...

I didn't really dream this but you get the idea. Try it next time you are stuck with a dream interpretation and share how you get on.

Oh my, even your tp! So who in your life do you feel over-exposed to lately? Oh yeah, the disappearing stall could be literally that you can't stall anymore about something...whatever that might be...

thank you Lin ... never thought of that!

and there are so many things I've stalled about, I can't even begin to say without being overexposed!

Didn't mean to offend- I have a closet full of unfinished projects and a house full of clutter and papers, so I should be dreaming of a LOT of disappearing stalls!

No offense taken whatsoever - it's the truth. I need to get my butt in GEAR ... in many ways.

Should we have a "Decluttering Challenge" here on CCS? It could certainly be an artistic event, in that it encourages us to clean up a space so we can be more creative.

What say, my friends? I could use a dose of Decluttering!

It would take a forklift for me Mary LOL...

What about having a Decluttering Challenge -- and we weigh the stuff we get rid of. We could have a goal of 25 lb. per week, or 100 lb. per month. It all adds up so fast, it would be easy. Folks could post pictures of their "declutter" and it could be fun.

Shall I think about starting something? Would you participate?

May a weight or box-full, whichever comes first- some bulky stuff isn't heavy, a box a week or 4 boxes a month
Mary, maybe this could be a discussion in "Go For The Goal" group ... I don't have a scale, so by the box would be better.

Malinda tried to inspire us once not too long ago, she did a lot of decluttering and posted pics of her stuff she was saying adios to ... can't remember where it was, now ...
Why don't we collectively gather all our mounds of declutter and make a monumental environmental sculpture...

first we pour tons of that plastic preserver stuff all over each of our many mounds, let dry, and decorate the longest east to west US highway with these colorful mounds of personal junk!

An artistic way of recycling! : )
wE CERTAINLY have lots of groovy tps to choose from, to clean up after ourselves...I'll stay with the red roll! : )

Hmmm....interesting use of words, there Barb!!! "butt in gear''
It is like your subconscious might also be saying something besides getting your butt in gear, though.
Could be about something at the bottom of your subconscious (in the back of your mind) that may need to be cleared up, and the loss of the stall bodes that perhaps these things are already being brought to light, AND
you won't need to hide in a private place inside yourself anymore! you ARE GETTING GOOD AT wipING up all the garbage you no longer need!
To me, it seems it could mean you are becoming successful at getting to the bottom of some emotional gook too long kept inside!
