I watched this film again recently, it's from the highly creative director Michel Gondry who's films also include Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind and Be Kind Rewind, as well as many incredibly creative music videos for the likes of Bjork, The Chemical Brothers and Kylie.

I'd recommend this film for anyone interested in dreams, reality and the blurred edges in between, as well as anyone who likes their films a little more offbeat and imaginative than your average Hollywood blockbuster...

It's on DVD now. It is wonderful, though an acquired taste. If you like the look of the trailer you'll like the film... Let me know when you see it.

Also worth checking out by same director are "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind" (more focused and a better film than "Science...") and "Be Kind Rewind" which is a bit patchy but has a brilliant premise and a typically enthusiastic and endearing performance by Jack Black.
