Here's what I typed up last night and put under my pillow:

Sad to say, no dreams to report this morning, even though I had a pen and paper ready. Maybe I will try it again by setting an alarm earlier than I normally get up. Hope that doesn't mean I'm not getting published!

Lin, just the act of writing out that goal moves you closer to it, and reading it regularly will move you closer still.

My short term memory took a vacation last night. I got involved watching interviews with David Lynch on an "extras" DVD that came with Inland Empire film, and forgot to write my question down to put under my pillow.

I did remember right after waking up. I had the fragment of a dream that involved three cylinder shaped creations I had made. They were about the diameter of a CD, made of clear material such as acrylic, about four or five inches tall. The one I remember most had opaque yellow layers in it. They all had layers of opaque color inside. There was an importance about them, as if I was given a message just before waking pertaining to them. I can't recall the message.

I'll try again tonight!

Seeing into (cause they are clear outside) the layers of your unconscious??? Yellow perhaps being of your fears?

yeah, or else a scrambled egg before cooking ... LOL!

They say people who wear yellow, believe they are beautiful ...

Tried again last night (26/27 June) with a note about the same thing (a night out with some friends) but written more clearly. I did dream about it and there were complications! Like an attempted stealing of my car because I'd left the roof down and not locked it, and I spent time trying to sort that out rather than enjoying the night I'd gone out to enjoy. Interesting!

Hmmm, somebody tried to steal something of great (monetary at least) value to you, a stand-in for your heart perhaps? Because you left it too open and unlocked and worried about it rather than enjoying the experience you set out to have? Maybe a sign to not let down all your defenses or be totally open but to relax and enjoy the experience without worry. SO cool that you had a dream about what you wanted to!

Hope I do. Well, I better get to bed or I won't have time to!

Not sure about the heart part but I see your logic...It was more about the worrying about something else rather than enjoying the experience. I can get too over analytical sometimes rather than just enjoying the moment. But I'm getting better all the time : )

Look forward to hearing about yours Lin...

I didn't write out the question, but intended before drifting off to sleep, to dream on the question "What is my Bliss?"

I woke without imagery ... yet with a feeling. It's about being sure. Remember those commercials for underarm deodorant where they sang "Raise your hand if you're sure" ... LOL!
Well my bliss is to stop second guessing everything I know for sure. I've been questioning a lot of things that have not felt right in my life and making a lot of changes in the past few years. After I make the change, I doubt myself. Come to think of it, this has been going on for much longer than that! And now I know deep down the meaning of "To Thine Own Self, Be True."

That's a pretty important realization, Barb. It's all about trusting yourself and your own judgment to do what is best for you, isn't it?

So be it, and so it is :)
