I am really enjoying the tea bag doodlations. I can't seem to get enough of it. I have even got my preschool class interested. Thanks so much for the idea.

Would you have any you can share? If the preschoolers can do it, I think it is safe for me to try :-)

My preschoolers were so thrilled with their work they took them home. We didn't even get to hang them up in the classsroom. We will try again and maybe I can send them next time.

Barb, I will try to send some very soon. Next week I will be on vacation for the next 2 weeks.

Here is my first try at tea bag doodling. I think this could become addictive!

I used tinted graphite pencils.

I love these critters! Are these the only two you made from one tea bag- or can you make a lot of them (progressively getting lighter, I would imagine) from one doused bag?

Alright. I think it is tea time...

Well, I made morning tea... I usually make a quart and put it in the thermos server... and then the tea bag went on the dog side and then over to the other crittter side, then to the garbage.

Fantastic exploration of tea bag doodles here, Carol!!! I see many possibilities for you...loving the process is the most important thing!

Hi there,
thanks for this idea! I gave myself an hour to finish these six and liked the faster than usual pace. The pic below shows the tea splashes as they were before the doodling.

Heidi your tea bag doodles are such happy creatures! Dancing birds happy fish dancing sunish orb...and the eyeball dancer with the (metalic pen?) glimmering leg.
What fun!
