It's okay I found the right page thanks Barb...I'll re post the doodle I put up before so as to get things together and not take over anyone's page grin...not that I will be that productive, but I'm looking forward to getting out the pen!

It de-stressed me a lot Lin on a very stressful day! I was thinking of Mary when I went for the yellow!

Beautiful colors Julia.
Is the doodle book like a kids coloring book? I don't think I have ever seen one.
When I was a teen they used to sell doodle posters- designs like this you colored yourself. I have not thought of those in a long time.

Yep, it's just a coloring book Jules, with more intricate designs than you normally see-I like that effect because when you see it in just grey and white, it leaves a lot of scope to explore the colors and just have heaps of fun...
Here's the cover of the book, published in England by Holland Publishing-I was lucky, I picked this up in a 2 dollar shop here a year ago, sadly none left
...I'd love to have the whole set!

This is an example from the book before it gets attacked! I'm thinking I might try watercolor pencils next time, not so solid, as they have on the cover...

Nifty. Yes, that is how the posters looked- then we colored in markers.
It really was a good way to explore color.

I love these books. We should create a CCS coloring book, so many talented doodlers here :)

Here's my Leo from a coloring book:

and a digitally enhanced version with a little more Fire :)

Wow, both look really good Barb! I agree about the CCS coloring book!

Maybe we could start a new discussion in the Doodling group about it, and set a goal for when to put it together. Even if it's just an online thing here at the group, a print-your-own thing, it would be intriguing to see the different interpretations and effects members come up with when adding colors :)

Woo, how did I miss this Leo Babs! Wonderful bit of coloring-is this your star sign? You growl girl, but ya just a pussycat-meow-thanks for sharing this-I'm glad I'm not the only 'child' who likes to color in-it's just SO right brain!

This is a doodle I scribbled while on the phone, it's all askew, kinda like my life at the moment, but inspired by the Red theme on collage with Lin-I went out and bought red pastel paper today-almost too yummy to cut-we shall see!
