I'll photograph a few from my old 'doodle journal", and that can be my creative day today...not sure how they will reproduce as the page has lines, but I'll see how it goes...

Oh yes, color is definitely my passion...My house is just full of light and color ,the walls copped it big time grin :-)

Julia...the whole page is so symbolic and poetic...the rose thorns, the holes...the words speak to my heart very much!

BTW...I love drawing on lined paper...the lines add a harmonizing element....

Gotta say the lines don't bother me too much either - you're right, the horizontal line is always calming, like the horizon over a vast ocean :-)

Thanks Lin...they are the sort of symbols that somehow mysteriously emerge in my doodles and paintings...strange, my dad could never understand where I got my weird ideas from, he was such a traditionalist LOL So I just told him they were my doodles...grin
