Wow Carol...abstract impressionism doodles- gotta love that! That first one would make a great large painting!
So glad you are joining us in the doodle display :-)

You know how you accidently find something when you are looking for something else? I found some metallic mechanical pencils I had lots of fun with in the past. They have no brand name on them. Grrrrrrrr. But I had a piece of glossy card stock from a perfume brochur so I doodle in gold. I like the look! These pencil are fun, in blue, green, gold, silver and purple. I want to find lead refills for them. I will post my two new doodles ina day or two. I am making them post card size so they can waft their way to some other home.

These doodles are works of art! I find the first one fascinating- it is kind of a happy dreamlike fairy forest..

Jules, you are sweet. I do like the big leafs and they did kinda remind me of wings. Did you see that on the first one? Like your discription of it, I think it will be called "Dreamy Fairy Forest."

Yes- on the first one. You will come to find that I have a tendency to see things in doodles- a shrink would have fun with me and that ink blot test.
I am happy that my description spawned a name for that beauty!

About the ink blot test... I think we all would give a shrink a fun run for his money. Grin! I have to get out my india ink and fix the eyes on the second one they are driving me insane! he he

Jules took the words right out of my mouth! These doodles are works of art! Reminds me of Klimt's women...Do you enjoy the artwork of Gustav Klimt? I suppose it is the decorative element here that makes me think of his art
here!

I am familiar with Klimt, but right now I could not speak of any one of his pieces. I will have to go "looking." Thanks for such positives Camilie! I really have enjoyed playing with these doodles. I am going to do a mandela one next, me thinks.
