Some of these are old, some are magnified in areas of a particular drawing-I find it's often possible to find doodles within doodles on a larger page...I'll make another new page in here for current doodlings, and stuff I am working on in the moment...

In the meantime, here's a few black and whites to start...

Just a doodle, the full scale on A4 paper...

The Spirit Inside...

Organic Charcoal...

Very fresh! Looks like it belongs on a nice set of notecards! Your pencils sure give a strong sharp color line, Julia. What brand are they?

Thanks Lin and Fi-I use Derwent watercolor pencils-yep, gives me the option of using water, but with the cross hatching and lines etc, could get muddy so easily-so I kept it virginal-I just love the freshness of white!

Thanks Fi, I always forget I can add water to these=so easy for me to make made-but I'll aim on keeping away from mixing the complementaries-that should fix it-still looks for watercolor sketch pad-where has that damn block gone!

You have named this appropriately! There is a lot of power in this simple doodle!
Along with the power, it is also dainty...it has the feel of a paper doily atop a white paper. Beuatiful Julia- as are all your creations!
