Sorry they are small pictures- there were to many to scan individually- I made them so you can click them for the pop up larger window

Here is my progression of these to date. The first few I just did not really feel like I was 'getting' to the heart of these...as they progressed different reoccuring shapes and patterns kept happening and I went with them when ever I got the urge.

I had to pick up my folks from the airport and the flight was delayed...I had paper, ink, and time :-)

These were started as doodles- random, stick figures, and my name written in cursive- shaped and filled in

For these I stabbed the paper ramdomly then connected the dots into shapes and filled them in

This was a fun and really relaxing pattern- I basically made the shape of the letter 'c' over and over with variation

These were just started by picking up the pen and starting to make marks

There were to many to scan bigger- but if there is one or two you'd like even bigger than the pop up window let me know and I will post it by itself

I can see where starting with the c shape (which reminds me of barnacles or shelf-mushrooms) - I began to get more comfortable doing these...I think I like the one on the bottom-most right the best- there is some neat stuff going on in that one.

Wow Jules! Your different ideas are so interesting! They look a lot like Zentangles to me!

Are you enjoying the ride?

Thanks for sharing them, Jules ... a lot of interesting things going on in these :) The "C - Shells" would be a fab fabric!

Thanks for stopping and looking everyone!

Yea Dabs...they are beginning to have more of a zentangle 'feel' to them.
As I get more and more comfortable with the slowness of them. They still do not really fit into the 'doodle' catagory of my mind, yet I am beginning to like the result.

Barb, I could make a lightweight fabric-sew it up into swim-suits- and call it a 'C' cell design . Then I can set up a booth at the beach.
You can all say "yea, I know Jules. She sells 'C' cells by the sea shore."

There ya go, Jules :) I'll be living on the sea shore soon as I win the win-this-home.com contest. There's a big art space we can set up for c cell swimsuit fabrication and whatever else we want to create ... and the shore is right across the road.

I will start packing...nix that packing idea...I will ebay it all and start over with c cell swimwear.
