Sorry, MCSers and friends, the grief is upon me big time this week. Please keep posting and experimenting, and researching, but most of all take care of yourselves.
I will return as soon as my spirits improve!

Yeah we have health food shops but they don't have a very wide variety of stuff and tend to concentrate on local brands. Don't worry, I'm sure I can concoct my own version once I find some peppermint oil...

Wild Cherry, do they have health food stores in Spain? They could quite possible have it in such a place! I hope you do find a local source for Dr. Bronners...possibly ask your merchant to keep it in stock.

There are other brands of peppermint soap, also...once I saw a different brand sold in a local supermarket ...but don't remember the details of it...boohoo!
Will keep my eyes opened for other brands...

Hello there, Best Reflections! Thank you so much for your story!!!
...A whole sweet family poisoned by a bug chemical is outrageous!
The fact that you and your girls turned the whole experience into a tools for changes is a perfect example of finding the silver linings in the clouds! BRAVO girls!!!

This has been my experience too...but it took me many years of darkness before I found the light!

That is why I started this group. To help MCSer artists rediscover their own lights asap and to proudly talk about and display their results!

Mary, I find it very brave of you to continue to work despite all of the challenges involved with MCS! In fact, I marvel at how you have kept it up! Good luck with your ff job change! Let us know how it works out!

Did you ask for the change in jobs because of the MCSchallenges?

Can you please tell me what kind of dog you have, as I am allergic to most! I want one very badly...as it sometimes gets very lonely living with MCS!!!

Having the right dog might even have a healing effect!!!
OOOh I want a doggie too!!!

See, I knew I overlooked a post!. So sorry Mary!!!

Thank you for adding your comments...
If you would like to add a journal for your daily challenges, you are invited to start a discussion of your own and name it to suit your expression! I am sure others will be very interested in the daily challenges...it validates their own...that they are not nuts, over too sensitive, or neurotic!!!

I invite all to open their very own discussions to start a journal about their daily challenges with MSC!!!

Thank you Mary!!!

More power to your green elbow, Best Reflections! What a positive woman you are despite all your trials and tribulations. Look forward to hearing more from you :-)
Best Reflections Comment by Best Reflections on November 2, 2008 at 3:41am
Hi all...
My family and I lost our home, our health and our quality of life ten years ago thanks to a Dursban poisoning and years of legal trials and tribulations that followed. MCS or Environmental Sensitivities are among the "gifts" we were given by the chemical company that produced this product. The gift however, was that of wisdom. My daughters were 1,2 and 3 when we first became aware of our poisoning. Now, at 11,12 and 14 they are able to help others understand the importance of living green and healthy. I am a "glass full" and "everything happens for a reason" kind of person. My 12 is an artist. She also was the one who has had the most illnesses (2 yrs at Boston Children's). We work with our schools to keep them chem free.

I look forward to learning and adding input in this group. We have learned that avoidance is the first step (within what you can control) and keeping your immune system healthy is the second step so that your body can do it's job and detox itself. Then, step three is educating anyone and everyone.

To creating your best (and healthiest) reflection...tina
