Tygur what a great experience seeing an armadillo in the flesh, and having your camera at the ready! I was treated to seeing a porcupine in the yard of a customer the other morning ... did not have my camera :(

Luck - finding a four leaf clover means luck. I found this one at least six years and two house-moves ago. Pressed it in a book and forgot it. Today I opened a random book and found it again, how strange and serendipitous - ?
It made me smile.

Alright, let's try this again. The picture below is one of four armordillos that came into the back yard at the house where I work. My computer has been a pain so that's why the comment with the photo is strange.

It was so fasinating that Don (my employer) and I ignored the biting buys and the distant thunder to get some great photos. We spent a good 20 minutes just watching them. These little critters didn't even fear us. As a matter of fact, one of them sniffed me and another one stepped on Don's foot. Not everyone finds armordillos cute, but I do. His (or her) face is to the left of the photo.

No I always have my camera with me, and I have an older one, so their is always a camera around the house.
So no problem for me, lucky me....lol

Do you ever feel torn between taking your camera to beautiful places or events and leaving it behind?
Because when you take it, you become an observer verses just being there to drink it all in...
I know that when I don't take my camera I regret it but when I do, I often times feel it is a bit of a sacrifice...

This was a candid shot of my kitty, Tygur. It's my favorite of all the pictures I have of her.

How To Find Your Natural Writing Style

Finding your own unique voice in writing is not something that can simply happen overnight.

When we’re born, we don’t pop out of our mother’s womb conversing fluently in 3 different languages. It takes time to discover how to communicate, and even when we’ve achieved a competent grasp our native language, it’s still a lifelong journey of finding new nuances, learning new words and honing the way we communicate so we can understand – and are understood – more clearly.

So your writing is a natural extension of this. Even when you have that competency in your mother tongue, as a writer you can then go on to develop an original and distinctive writing style. Here are 5 tips to make this a rewarding journey:
