I thought it might be fun to have a collage postcard swap. Post cards don't cost much to mail and they are fun to collage. So, if you want to play, leave a comment here. Here is how it will work. I will send a postcard to the first person to comment, the first commenter will send to the second commenter and so on. I think this will work.... anyway, it would give us a chance to trade art. This is October 1st so sign up until October 7th... the last person to comment will send to me! Then you all will have to trade snail mail addies in order to mail. You can do that through PMs. DO NOT COMMENT HERE unless you intend to play please. I think the postcards should be 5" X 7", can be larger but not smaller. They may take a bit more postage than a regular post card so check with your PO! We will end sign up Oct 7, and mail out our cards by Oct. 14th!! Please be prompt... it's more fun that way!

A peek at the card I will be sending:

Okay... the play has started!
I will be making a post card for-(card from Jane received.)
Lin-who will make a post card for (card from Carol received)
Valerie-who will make a post card for (received card from Lin)
Beneita-who will make a post card for(received her card from Val)
Ang-who will make a post card for....
Susan-who will send to Mary H...
Mary H-sends to Jane... (received card from Susan)
Jane-sends to Carol (me me me!)
(received card from Mary)

Carol, I want to play, but where do you get 5 x 7 postcards? At the post office?

Lin, did you make a post card? I never "buy" anything like that. I just use card stock. By the time you collage on it it is quite sturdy.

Sure, I'll jump in...it's only a postcard, it's only a postcard...

This post card swap sounds like just what I need this time of year. Besides, two of my CCS friends have already signed up so I am absolutely positive it will be fabulous. Lin, I cut my own 5x7 postcards from cardstock, usually with a bit of glossy finish, but make sure it is heavy enough to withstand the rigors of snail mail.

Susan you will send to the next person who signs on, or if no one does by the end of the deadline, then you will send to Carol.

hi lin, and thanks, I saw your email....

Lin, Does that mean the next person who answers this thread? I find this confusing. I'm not sure how to track the messages and be informed of the next person who signs on. I'll try my best at this. WHo is sending to me?
