Poor Fio. I remember when I was driving to Michigan, I was trying to post a message to Carol Clark's page from my husband's Blackberry. (He was driving at the time). What a pain that was! I ended up sending about 7 repeat messages to Carol's page, most of them cut off somewhere in the middle.

To top it all off, when I signed my name "Mo" the Blackberry automatically changed it to "month" and I didn't know it. So the messages all read, "Love, Month."

Well, hang in there! I suppose it's all a part of that "moving limbo" phase!

TAKE TEN.

Having set this challenge, i was flummoxed: I couldn't think anythin'!! Then going to work on the bus one day, late this week just gone, i thought: "10 Green Bottles". And I like music in collages, so that was that. I decided to restrict the colour scheme & felt that I wanted newsprint on it, for the first time. Anyhow I used this strip of newsprint (central column) from the betting pages, 'cos of the lime coloured horizontal line. The bird-like shapes just happened. At the end I was like: "yeah, but what's the message?" & i could only think of superficial things. Then I noticed the words at the top: "Take Ten", so that's the message. I've put an ellipse around that. Lower down I noticed: "The Names is Frank" (which made me think of Frank from CCS), then lower down again "Desperate Dan" followed by "Artistic Licence". Need I say more? Then, finally, I notice "Make Amends" which is often good advice, so I put a ring around that too. Hope i haven't said too much now, but i know people like to have a bit of a "back-story". That's what i love abt. collage: "happy accident " & "other people's take on them"...... & i think i can guess what you might ask, i'm afraid, however, that i've no idea how these horses got on in their races!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyhow, i'm not a "betting woman".

Angie, I love your collage. Love the colors, and your use of newsprint. How fun and amazing that the newsprint had such CCS-related words! It was meant to be! I like the birds too ... cool how they just happened along; they really add a lot to the piece.

I am glad you gave the explanation -- it makes it all the more meaningful!

I started my bottle collage but it might be awhile before it's done. I decided to finish up my "Radical Red" collage first, which I started about 2 months ago and never finished. I am almost done with it now ... can't wait!
