This theme keeps "bobbing up" in my mind, i'm definitely going to do a Message in A Bottle Collage & if anyone feels inspired to join in the only criteria is: ANYTHING GOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i.e. any kind of collage, using whatever materials you wish..................

Thanks so much for the encouragement, Susan ... I think that's a good idea, to finish what I already have started. That way I won't get overwhelmed trying to do two things at once, and then give up. I hope to have some time tomorrow. I need to keep in mind that a few minutes a day can accomplish a lot!

Maureen, It is satisfying to complete things so I work out a schedule of things I'd like to do allowing enough time for me to finish things. I don't take on too much. I do a lot of things a bit at a time but I do get things finished as well. Some people never finish things and that is OK if it makes you happy to start and not finish. I like to finish things.

I like to finish things too. It's important for me to practice finishing things. I have been doing some of the exercises in Artist's Way (Chapter 1), on Affirmations and Blurts. One of my affirmations is that "I, Maureen, finish the projects that I start." I am working to make that affirmation line up with my reality. (My blurt was that I never finish things). Leaving things unfinished makes me feel very defeated.

I am so glad to have your support, and really appreciate you.
love, maureen
Lin, How about a challenge where we send each other images to collage from. Would you like to do that. I'd love some images from you and I could send some to you. Mine would just be simple ones from magazines as I don't have interesting books. If anyone else wants to swap just say so I'd love to work with other peoples images.

Maybe swap 2-3 images? Do you have a scanner so we can email them? You can make a discussion for a swap. Sounds like fun.

Lin, I was wanting an excuse to receive some snail mail in the letter box so is it OK if you post them? 2-3 images sounds fine. I was going to send heaps but 2-3 sounds better. Tell me if snail mail doesn't suit you.

I have done my message in a bottle collage but it isn't snazzy enough to post. It is a really basic one that means something to me on my spiritual journey but would be quite meaningless to share. Thanks for the prompt Angie and I hope you share another prompt in the future.

Susan, that's great that you finished your collage! I am sure it is very lovely and meaningful. I admire you, that you are able to take on projects and finish them, enjoying the process. You are a good role model for me!

Maureen, I'm glad i inspire you. You inspire me and I love hearing about your being a mum. I'm not a mum.

Susan, mine is very simple too. It too means something personal, not about the alcohol but about other issues. Maybe I should have made it a SoulCollage card! Look forward to your next challenge then.

Lin, I am trying to get myself to post the collage because I am aware that everyone gets something different out of the art work.I'm having a massage this afternoon so i will think it over then!!!
