it's lovely Carol, and how true (and happiness is the bluebird in your own backgarden (or somethin' like that)..like the colours & textures & the little waves under the people, and the ship's cat (?), very intriguing, I'm going to have to come back and have a good look at it "afresh" & see what other treasures it yields......Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!! Will you frame it?

Thanks, Angie. I don't know what I will do with it. I have thought of binding many of these challenges together in a book but I really don't know if I would like that. Probably just put it in my stack of finished pieces, waiting for my muse to whisper to me what I should do with them all, lol.

Carol, do you have an Etsy store or something like that? Might as well sell the puppies!

Lin: I did have an etsy store but closed it. I just don't want the extra pressure trying to sell my stuff adds to my life. When I first retired I thought yes, thats what I would do, but after a few months realized no, that is not for me. I just like the journey!

I didn't know it was such a hassle- sorry about that! Do you ever do a show?

Love that big ole bottle bobbing in the sea, Carol! Water is awesome, love the vintage photo and the sailing ship. Sand is a nice touch too. You must have an amazing paper collection! Great quote too.

Thanks, Lin, and yes, I do have way too much paper. Shall we do a paper swap? I could send you about 50 lbs or more, lol. I started with a piece of card stock and a wavy stencil edge. I used some liquid chalk on the stencil to make the wiggly water. The sand is a piece of hand made paper I just picked up at a yard sale recently where almost all my paper stash originated. It did look "sandy" to me, lol.
