I just decided to start an open discussion where we can put collages that are not part of any challenge or other discussion. I want to see what we can all do :-)

The first one looks so mysterious and the second one is so cute!

Carol, Loved seeing your artist journal pages. How did you print the leaves. I also have printing on the bag you sent me. How do you print the images? They aren't stamps.

Susan and Lin. Thanks for commenting. Susan... you can make your own stamps out of lots of stuff. These happen to be 1/4 in craft foam. You can make stamps out of almost anything tho... card board, thick foam tapes, big erasers, etc. You will get so you know when you see or feel something that it will make a good stamp. Just start playing with anything you find that might work! Look in all those junk drawers and storage areas for stuff. I bet rubber inner tubing cut and stuck on a piece of something flat would work too.

Great job, as always, Carol!
Are these some of your journal pages, or separate collages in which you responded to prompts?

I mostly do all my journaling on loose pages, then bind them together later. I like the freedom of the loose paper.

i love the birdy one, the design just tugs at my tummy which is how I know when I really like something.

Doing collages from journal prompts--what a great idea! I really like the first one. It has such a great message and it's there in her hair, or "on her mind." Wonderful! And I love the bright green in the sweet birdie collage.
