Hi Everyone,
I have gathered all the treasures and am putting them here so we can see them all together.

If you post a comment please don't reply to the posts with photos so that hopefully they won't get separated. Just start a new comment or reply to someone elses.

I think there are still six sets to come in so we can add those via the reply to the photos and hopefully keep them together. Clear as mud? I hope this works. I think I got all the ones that have been posted but if I missed yours let me know.

Enjoy, Valerie

Hmmmm...I can't recall anything like it...
unless they resemble the cuticle pushers...that replaced orange sticks?
(OK, I never use them and my nails can attest to that, but... :-)

At any rate, Jules, I wouldn't call the MAGIC you create "mushing"!
Good grief...
I have no clue about cuticle pushers...
Here is what they look like. I used to get then at hobby lobby or that universal teacher store- neither on had them last week- maybe in your town...The thing is, they don't break, bend or wear out- so stores don't end up selling them over and over

With a very large painting I bet a rubber spatula would work just as well...hum. I just may have to paint a big picture and test that out LOL
Ah, yes...I've seen a version of these in supply catalogs. But I don't remember seeing them in connection with claywork. Kewl Jules!
They would definitely work for small details.
I'll check at my Hobby Lobby and Michael's...

Of course, many times I get so engrossed in achieving a certain texture in the final stages, that I forget what tool I'm using and I end up literally "touching up" my paintings without realizing it...
too bad I don't 'get into' my work...lol...

About your spatula idea - I would love to see your large work...I might be dangerous with a spatula...grin.
That reminds me: I'm going to find a link to share of an artist that uses a variety of non-art tools to apply paint...
Here is a vid of Rebecca Crowell in her studio:
Thanks DJ- that was a nice studio visit.

One day I am going to have to try a full- go for broke- pull out all the stops body painting....with glitter LOL
When you "figure out" that "presentation", lemme know...
;- )
