12 Artists create a piece of art for each of the four seasons...

The Artist's Seasons
Each of the 12 artists in the project will produce four pieces of artwork, one each for Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, and post them in their own personal forum discussion.
Of course everyone else in the group will comment, encourage and enjoy everyone else's work within the whole Artist's Seasons group.
You can contribute any piece of art you wish for each season - a poem, a story, an ATC, a collage, a sculpture, a carving, a painting, a photograph, or anything else that expresses what each of the four seasons means to you.
It doesn't need to be the same media for each season, though you may wish to take this as an opportunity to create a four piece series of themed artwork.
This group project starts Saturday 12th Jan 2008 and will finish on Saturday 8th March 2008, 8 weeks later.
By this date, all artists will have posted their four seasons of art and we'll together have 48 pieces of season themed art - or 12 years' worth, depending how you look at it...

What happens now?
Start a new discussion by clicking on the + Start Discussion link right at the foot of this page, name it after you - eg Dan's Seasons - and give us a little intro on how you're feeling about the project and why you've chosen to take part.
Then start creating your first piece! Once it's finished post your artwork, or a photo of your artwork, in your discussion and write anything you wish about it.
Feel free to comment on other member's discussions and offer support and encouragement, this is a group project.
