Once you’ve chosen a specific medium to work in for your next creative project, you’ll automatically have a set of ideas and preconceptions about what’s possible in this medium.

You’ll tell yourself that anything you create in this medium SHOULD be of a specific shape, size, content, dimension, tone, colour, and a dozen other restrictions.

Our Dabs certainly doesn't need to be told how to think out of the box! What an inspiring list...and, clever girl, she made us laugh at the same time. I'm sure I couldn't have thought of a fraction of those things to do with a marshmallow...

I'm eating marshmallows as we speak! Berry flavour with soft centres. If anyone can think out of the box it's Dabs!

Sounds to me like Robyn is "eating out of the box!" Berry flavored marshmallows...who knew?

MMMM...Robyn, you can become rich and famous with that recipe! Can you send me a two bags...one for me to eat and one for my marshmallow mattress project! : )

That was my favorite episode...Loved the Red Twizzler Dress! Did you know that those Hersheys dresses are being auctioned off? ...The Twizzler Dress is under $300!!! That is a steal!

Oh thanks for posting Camille! I was trying to remember what it looked like. The skirt part set the stage on fire! It swished so beautifully.

Yes, Robyn that dress was well made...I thought that young woman designer should have won project runway...her works were beautiful, original, and meticulously sewn...

How she managed to sew that bustier top with twizzlers so perfectly and beautifully shaped is beyond me!

That is why that is my favorite show, Robyn... the creators are forced to think outside of the box all the time!!! The projects make me wanna go out and try them too!!!

Do you remember the grocery store project? The designers had to make a dress only with supermarket items...some fabulous gowns were created from produce leaves and crocheted dish towels...amazing!

Yes I remember Camille. My favourite show too! We havn't seen the last episode yet but I know who won. I agree Gillian should have won. Her coats are so gorgeous I would give my eye teeth for one. The human hair outfits made by Chris were really amazing too. At first I went Eww!!!! but then when you think how happy people are to wear hair extensions...whats the difference? If he had said pony nobody would have turned a hair.....excuse the pun.
Rami's draped cocktail dress was soooo stunning. Wow!!! Such talent and innovation and inspiration.

They were all so uniquely talented, Robyn! What patience they have to do all that sewing besides draping, designing, adding embellishments,fittings...etc!
It is so exciting to watch their process and to see the end products...the look on the designers faces when their models hit the catwalk tells it all!
I am a bit surprised Rami won, as he did basically the same style all the time...but they were all excellent...Jillian really was very diversified and could be wild and funky or tailored and smart with her designs...

That woman who spit to mark her clothing...an interesting personality, but I wonder if she dry cleans those spittled clothes before she sells them at her boutique! LOL!

It takes all kinds to make up this wild whacky wonderous world! People are so interesting, especially when they are in the act of creating something! Love the diversity!
