A task in The Kingdom of Attitude in The Vein of Gold by Julia Cameron asked us to get crayons or whatever to illustrat our home and what we wanted to attract to it. I took the shortcut and assembled various artifacts from my eclectic collection of well loved objects and phtographed it.

I love painting still life paintings. I need to get back to where I once belonged.

Barbara, This is a lovely collection of artifacts. Like the table cloth... I painted a small oval coffee table with a celestial theme a few years ago, and this top reminds me of it.

Thanks, Carol. The foundation is a turntable, decopaged by Lisa, a ccs member. She created it. She doesn't think she is an artist. It served as a stand for a TELEVISION. Until she gave it to me. Now it resides on a low table, next to my art table. I love it. I love the Universe, and this is an awesome artistic version of that.

Barbs, that is such a tempting attractive still life ensemble! I love love love still life paintings, yet rarely do them myself...Love Audrey Flacks early paintings. Did'nt we discuss her Vanitas paintings once? I will have to google them up again!!!

Is it serendipitous that I found the Shambala art center this week and that they have the art of display there???

Fascinating site, Camille! I've bookmarked it to go back and watch some of the videos. Thanks for sharing this. Yes! I remember discussing those paintings by Audrey Flack here at CCS ... she's great!
