CoachCreativeSpace

This is one of the questions I ask when new members join CCS, and on my page I answered:

To be able to help 1000s of people become the creative person they know they can be, see the fulfillment that brings them and those around them, and the positive difference it makes to the world.

So what's YOUR biggest creative dream?

By sharing with us here, you're a step closer to see it come to fruition. And we can help you take the next steps too.

"To live a creative life and leave the world a better place because I was in it for a while."

is the answer I wrote when I joined CCS.

I enjoy learning more about who I am through my art. I enjoy helping others notice and enjoy their own creativity in whatever ways it manifests for them. Since being a member here, I've done more drawing, more photography for pleasure, more consistent journaling, all of which help bring enjoyment to my life and help me let go of my picky perfectionist tendencies. I see myself in a more positive light, I'm happier, and that helps my relationships with others. It spreads out like ripples in a pond after a pebble has been dropped in.

it's been a while since i first answered that question here on ccs and i cannot even remember what i answered but i'm going to answer now and then go back and see how close the answer is to then...its probably gonna be the same but one thing's for sure and that is that i am closer to realizing that dream's fruition now than ever and that is hugely because ccs has helped me to grow more confident with my own creativity.

to finish my books, get them published and write more!
to sell my art and put on my own art shows
to host/facilitate retreats for women that show them how we are each blessed with creativity from God and how to share those creative blessings with others to share God's love
to host events that facilitate and encourage creative play in intergenerational settings
to teach adults to be more childlike in their creative endeavors
to set up a website (that i hope to link with ccs) where i can market my books, art, and retreats and play there too :-)

Dan, Thanks for asking us this question -- over, and over, and over, and over, and over!

I took a great big HUGE leap of faith recently and "paid in full" for my SoulCollage Facilitator Training to be held in October. I've been involved with SoulCollage almost two years, and love the process. There is nobody in the Worcester community (except for the few people I've shared the process with) who knows about SoulCollage! From the training, I will be "certified" to conduct "retreats" and introduce the incredible process of SC to others. It's been so exciting and meaningful for me, and I love teaching people about wonderful, fun, inspiring things, so it seems to be right up my alley. So, between now and October, I need to read some books and listen to some CDs and make some more cards and do some journaling. What a drag!!

Thanks for keeping us on our toes, Dan! You still ROCK!

My answer in (3) parts:

I want to keep writing every day, and share my love of writing with others who have the same passion, or who would like to be more a part of it. I want to share my love of language with the world.

To be published, with stories, a novel (or novels), my poetry, and a memoir.

To be as open-minded and creative in my writing as I can, as well as in all other areas in my life.

My creative dream is to be published or be featured in a small group show. I dream of meeting people who have been touched in some way by the work I do. I dream of being understood and cared about, through my artwork. I hope to feel a closeness and camaraderie with like minds.

I dream of making all the "planning" and imagining that I so about artwork, become a reality. Yeah...pretty much all about me, right now - but, hey, that's okay!
