Okay so it's four oclock in the morning,,or maybe it isnt.
it's 12 oclock noon, and it comes knocking, do I have to let it in, hell to the no.
I have a choice of letting him in, and serving him tea and bicuits, but will I forget, that stress doesnt appreciate my fine english biscuits, and takes too much damn honey for his tea(smile)
well the real message is, I am not obligated to let him in, I dont owe him anything, actually he never pays back in real currency, so why should I allow him to borrow my time.
I say dont let him in, the choice is mines and yours. not his.................................

hi glen - stress is something i suffer from a lot. I like the way you have personified stress and given "him" the opportunity to join you or not....

stress is not a welcome visitor - and i would certainly not entertain him to english tea and biccies! lol

thank you for this - when i suffer my next wobblyness... i will think of this piece of writing...

I like this, too, Glen. Often, though, we get what we resist the most. Maybe instead of trying to keep "him" out, it's more effective to allow myself to do something else, that does not involve stress in any way, shape or form :)

well maybe I should write this again, cause that is exactly what I thought I said, by keeping him out I think one must be doing something else...................

ya think I should write it again?

If it feels right to rewrite, yes :) One of the life lessons that gets brought home to me again and again, is that being for something (in thoughts and words and actions, saying yes) so often works better than being against something (saying no) ... because when I think "I am against (something)" I'm giving my attention to that, and feeding that.

No Ann, I believe it's written good enough, and if one reads it well enough, they will know , the only way to keep him out, is by doing something, to avoid the void(smile)
I think it's simple enough......................
