Free museums on Tuesdays is great! I hope you feel up for it, maybe tomorrow, Mary!
I am reclusive as well and find it hard to get out of the house some days unless I have an "important" errand. But looking back, the Artist Dates that stand out the most in my memories are those where I got off the sofa and went out of town.

When I first started Artist Dates it was difficult. I am alone, so going to street festivals, especially since I can't walk for any distance without my walker was a real test of resolve, but I went. I discovered that my being there..at the festival well, that I belonged. There were families, couples, single people, elderly people, young people and then the large women with the blue walker and long skirt and somehow I was part of the whole scene and I fit. I hadn't been use to being lame yet..it's a fairly new development and I was still a bit embarrassed by the walker. Going to the zoo and renting the motorized scooter was amazing. My membership is still good too. I guess for meI try to get out of my comfort zones and go experience something new.
