You are invited to be part of a 1X1 Zentangle (ZiTs) swap! If you don't know what a Zentangle is, please go to this CCS Group for more information: http://coachcreativespace.ning.com/group/doodling

The deadline will be May 25th, 2008. I will be the Hostess for this swap. Please let me know if you would like to participate. Depending on how many join the swap depends on how many 1X1 Zentangles you will have to make.

The ZiTs can be black & white or in color -- it's your inchie, make it as you wish!

Ain't art grand? Have fun, and I hope we get lots of participation

I know, Barb...these mailfrauders should be punished by having to spend six months inside a giant marshianmallow blob! STICKY GOOEY OOOEY in there, just like in the Alien movies! That's the best rehab for a sans-stamper! LOL!

marshmallow (french)
n. guimauve (confiserie); guimauve althée (Botanie)

(don't ask me how to pronounce it, Barb!)

gee MOWV ? con FIH sur AY ?

LOL .. a wild guess on my part ... it's been quite a while since high school, and we were much more exposed to cheeses in French class than to marshmallows :)

I don't think we should punish 'em for their past transgressions and post office thievery, Dabs. They're too lovable ... and I'm sure they've already rehabilitated themselves, n'est pas? :)

Oh Barb, you are such a marshmallow! LOL! Love that about you!

Barb-I have completed a twelve stamp program for postal transgressions. How about you Mary?

Cool Jules! Did you put 'em in a little booklet, and turn 'em in for fabulous merchandise? Like Blue Chips or S&H Green Stamps? :)

Barb, I'm guessing Jules has no idea what you're talking about...but I do! How many stamps have you licked in your life, Barb? I know I licked enough to get my mom a set of glasses with a carrier at the Stamp Store!

Yes, Barb...to keep us quiet on rainy days, Granny had us stamping books and books of these...no wonder my immune system isn't up to stampards these days!

Sure I know green stamps Mary...and the twelve stamp program helped me to lick the habit. :-) (apparently I am older than you think. We will go with what you think.)
I still have my white mixer I got with green stamps. It still works- not like the junk you buy today

Junk is right. I got an avocado green mixer when I got married (avocado and harvest gold were THE colors at the time) and it still works.

I got a mixer like it (in white) about five years ago, and it burned out within a year!
When we were helping my grandmother send thank yous to people who sent condolences for my Grandpa's funeral my sister went to the local post office and asked for *self licking stamps*. After the postal clerk said "are you sure?" She said of course I am sure. Then when she got home and found out they were not adhesive and had to be licked she got mad because she thought he had been deceived.
The rest of us got a good laugh out of her self licking stamps...we made her lick them all herself LOL
