Many of us 'Spacers have been through painful periods of grieving, mourning and sorrowing.
Spacers write of loss of their pets, serious health challenges that debilitate, divorces, and loss of family or friends, and then there is catastrophic loss through natural disasters, car accidents, etc.

We grieve when we meet with these critical life challenges. I am grieving right now for the recent loss of a much loved soul-mate. It has made me wonder how our grief and sorrow effects our creativity...

Did you create during times of grieving or put it away?
Did sorrow change your creative habits?
Did you use sorrow as a starting point for a new inspiration?
Did it change the way you made art or the images you produced?

I would love to read of your experiences regarding how grief effected or is effecting your creative live...Please do share here!
Sincerely, Camille

You are welcomed, Jules...It has inspired me to do my memory book of Les with a much more spirited approach...and to do my morning pages, and the timeline/cups with that kind of attitude!

Dabs, are you feeling any better?

Yes, Lin! Thanks for asking!

The ATCs and a new theme for some collage project has me very motivated!
Also trying to approach loss with a childlike approach, as the video suggests...Hugs from Dabs

Glad you enjoyed it, Alfredo...even death and loss and grieving and mourning can be expressed with the wonder of the inner child within each of us! How do you think you could express grief in a FUN way? What media would you choose? Writing, music, painting, photos...???

Music, of course :-) It is interesting that the new album I am working in is about the Nordic tales, an ancient culture that dealt constantly with life and death in a climate that was harsh and unforgiving. The album will be dedicated to my nephew, who is now on his last days of life on this plane.

Wow, how wonderful your musical mind creates, Alfredo! The analogy of working with the Nordic tales in the way that you perceive them, is so deep and passionate...your heart will be heard strongly in this new album!!!

And your nephew, he will be listening in heaven...music is very vibrational...your music will be an invisible thread that ties you and your nephew together in a special way, into forever!!!

You see why we need to create? Eventually the truth of why we need to create in our unique ways will be shown to us...how wonderful that you have sowed the seeds and recieved such amazing fruit so early on in your life!

May God continue to bless you and all who have been touched by you and your music!

LOve Camille
